My Handsome Joel

After looking at all these pictures you can see why it is hard to leave Portrait Innovations without spending a small fortune. They see me coming and know I am a sucker for my own child. I can't help it....

More from the Photo Shoot

It's a good thing he's cute. I think I'll keep him.

Joel's Photo Shoot

I can't believe Joel is already 1 year old. Where did the time go???

To Infinity & Beyond

My Little Buzz & Woody. Jack LOVES Toy Story & I thought this was perfect.
While I still have some say in the matter, I decided what the costumes were going to be.
This is Jessie, minus the red hair and pigtails.
(Ok, it's grandma and her boys, but don't tell Buzz or Woody)

Woody (Joel) and his grandma...he has her wrapped around his finger.
Notice he has a cookie in his hand and it is past his bedtime, she doesn't care about that.

Pool Time

Since we didn't make it to Holiday World last Saturday, we modified things a bit and let the kids play in the water at Pa & Grandma's house.
They both loved playing & splashing each other.

It doesn't matter how long Jack is out in the sun he is always this white. I don't think he has the ability to get a tan. That is why his nickname is "White Lightning"

Joel's First Swim

One hot day equals time in the pool. This is the first time Joel
has been swimming. He loved it!!!
Joel had his own pool while Jack & Afton were in a slightly bigger one.
Joel is trying to see what's going on in the big pool.

I can always count on Joel to give a big smile for the camera.

The brief moment I got Jack to sit next to his brother for a picture.
It didn't last long and I couldn't get them to smile at the same time.

I think he is smiling because he has the pool to himself again.

Harrah Farms

Things have been busy around the ol' homestead. Now that we are tending to the animals there is less time for blogging. Here are a couple pics of our "ladies"
Right now we have 35 chickens that we are hoping will lay eggs soon. Late last month we did have a massacre and lost 23 chickens in the middle of the night. Something large & hungry dug into their coop and had a feast. We are hoping that doesn't happen again.

And here is a holiday dinner. OK, I know that seems cruel, but who doesn't like a good ham at Easter. We just got these 3 little pigs today and so far they don't stink too bad. We are trying to think of some good names....any suggestions?
Jack & his 3 pigs...he is so fearless when it comes to animals. He always wants to pet his chickens, I wonder when he will ask to ride the pigs.

I thought this picture was cute because the both have their hog boots on and seem to be on a mission. Jack knows that we have to go out and feed the chickens every night and he is such a big help. He was born to be a farmer.
